SOM was established by me and my partner Selen Akçalı.  Our goal is not only be a consulting company. We are planning to create projects which will bring social welfare to our society. Our wish is to create a group for interested sponsors of social responsibility, idea owners for social responsibility projects, persons of take part in the social responsibility projects. We are planning to provide the most efficient projects from this group in order to provide a win-win situation for both sponsors and sponsee.

My PhD thesis was about the corporate community involvement. I analyzed the biggest companies’ social responsibility projects in Turkey. During my PhD I met a large number of corporate communication administrators. I saw social responsibility projects already entered to the company’s core strategy. We are aiming to produce more efficient projects which satisfy the stakeholder expectations.
